Volunteer at ATHS!
Since its inception in 1971, volunteers have played an instrumental role in the success of the American Truck Historical Society. As a member-owned and member-run historical society Volunteers provide the best possible service to the public, whether guests are touring the Visitor Center, researching in the Zoe James Memorial Library, or attending a public program.
Volunteers serve in different capacities depending on their interests, including:
• Administrative Clerk
• Library Assistant
• Audiovisual Assistant
If you like to visit people, helping as a tour guide may be a perfect fit. Or, if serving “behind the scenes” is more appealing, consider contributing your time as an audiovisual or library assistant. If your interests vary, you can join the ranks of volunteers who lend their talents in more than one way. Hours are flexible from Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
All work is unpaid, but we offer the non-taxable benefits of new skills, friendships, and the satisfaction of knowing you’ve helped advance historical knowledge!
