In 1917, Fageol unveiled the Four Passenger Touring Speedster, a luxury car powered by a Hall-Scott aircraft engine. With its 125-horsepower inline-six and custom coachwork by C.P. Kimball, this was a car built to impress. But only three were ever made before World War I called for a shift in priorities.
Fast-forward to 1949, and Lou Fageol dreamed up the Supersonic, a futuristic sports coupe. With twin Miller engines and an aerodynamic design, this car could hit speeds of up to 150 mph! A retractable hydraulic roof and propane power made it feel straight out of science fiction. Yet, like the Speedster, it remained a rare gem, never reaching full production.
So why highlight cars in a truck group? Because they reflect the same bold engineering and innovative designs that set Fageol trucks apart.
