ATHS Celebrates Future Leaders with 2025 Scholarship Awards

The American Truck Historical Society announced its two George Schroyer Memorial Scholarship recipients, the Cummins Scholarship recipient, and the Lewis Semple Clark Educational Fund winner at its ATHS Awards Banquet in June. 

“At American Truck Historical Society, we’re honored to support students pursuing careers in trucking and transportation and all higher learning,” said John Gravley, ATHS executive director. “Through our scholarships, we invest in the next generation of thinkers, doers, and story tellers who will keep the spirit of the past alive while shaping the future,”

870 Historic Trucks Pack Madison as ATHS Hosts 2025 National Convention & Truck Show

The American Truck Historical Society (ATHS) welcomed around 5,000 trucking enthusiasts to its National Convention & Truck Show in Madison, Wis., June 5–7.

“The Madison show was everything ATHS stands for,” said Peter Wild, 2025 convention chair from Newton, Kan. “With 870 beautifully preserved trucks and trailers, hands-on demonstrations and learning sessions, trucking history came alive. Best of all, we swapped stories with friends old and new from around the globe.”

“The Alliant Energy Center was the perfect one-stop venue,” added Courtney Cesar, ATHS convention manager. “Having show trucks, vendors, learning sessions, and events, under one roof—and within walking distance of hotels—made the event seamless for attendees.”

Gear Up, Madison! Nation's Largest Historic Trucking Event Rolls in Next Week

The American Truck Historical Society (ATHS) will showcase approximately 1,000 historic and modern trucks and trailers of all shapes and sizes at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin. The 2025 ATHS National Convention & Truck Show will be held June 5–7 and is open to truck enthusiasts, industry professionals and the public.


“This event is a great time for everyone of all ages,” said Peter Wild, ATHS Convention Committee chair. “You’ll see trucks from all over the country, some dating back to the 1910s. There’s a reason people come for the trucks and stay for the people—it becomes a big family reunion.”
